This list represents what is best about a free and democratic society. All are welcome here, anyone can say what they want without fear of reprisal. If the unsubscribes were intentional, it is part of the risk associated with having a free and democratic list.
We should not respond with any limiting of the freedoms held dear by this list, nor should we increase security with the eye to “preventing” similar occurrences in the future. We should not take “vengeance” on the ones responsible, nor should we attack those who might, in some small fringe way, be associated with those responsible, for to do so would severely undermine the basic tenets of this list.
