    The announcement in today's Daily News (Sat. Sept 28, page 1A) that
Nathan Alford is the new publisher is welcome news, but perhaps the
article itself reveals the seriousness of the problems he faces.
    Within the article was the announcement of a community forum
sponsored by Moscow Vision 2020 to introduce Alford to Moscow.
    The date of the forum as printed in the Daily News was incorrect.
    The forum has actually been scheduled for Wed. October 30 (not 20)
at 7pm.  The forum will be in the Gritman Medical Center conference room
on the first floor.  The room may be accessed from a door on 7th Street,
or through the lobby.
    See you on October 30.
