Jerks, Sluts, and Infidels

Maybe I'm being overly sensitive, since all three of those titles (not to 
mention prostitute- or petty thief-equivalent)could no doubt be applied to 
me by some earnest listmember, but I think we're getting into the kind of 
bickering that makes internet chat groups so unproductive and difficult to 
read.  Is it possible to agree that we don't need to call names or browbeat 
each other while disagreeing strongly as to content?
