RE: Unidentified subject!
I think you know you're wrong there, don't you? Most people want the
words of their God to be on their side, so this is understandable.
Was there a book of Jesus? Did he write down His word as He said them?
Not as far as we know. He was a carpenter, not a writer. Was God's word
really coming out of Paul's mouth? He was no prophet, but apparently
sent to proclaim the word of God. Jesus is not going to recite the words
of Paul. Did Jesus make proclamations against homosexuality? I had
always thought that beliefs surrounding the Christ figure mainly dealt
with "love thy neighbor", "do onto others", "shake the dust from your
sandals of the town" and so forth. I don't recall any direct quotes that
speaks volumes about how wrong homosexuality is. The whole lot is
tertiary-source runour, so I doubt that anyone knows what Christ
actually said.
This would be like the Queen mother, coming back from the dead spouting
words from her biography, the name of which fails me now. I could not
imagine Christ walking the streets and spouting the same things he was
_alleged_ to have said. If anything, if anyone claimed he was Jesus and
started off by going through Acts of the Apostles verse by verse, I
would be inclined to not believe him.

Hello Melynda Huskey,

I am just curious, have you just kicked Jesus out of all those offices
and
departments?
What if He were to come in to those offices and departments proclaiming
His
Word as in Romans 1:26-:27?
Would He be hustled out of those offices and departments because He
would be
proclaiming His own Word which includes homophobic language and because
He
would be displaying homophobic behaviour by proclaiming His Word which
includes
homophobic language?
Curious minds would like to know.
Cheers!
