What a lot is packed into this one sentence!  I notice that you think in 
terms of women being "allowed" to choose their clothing, rather than having 
that right.  You also imply that if we aren't directed and restrained by 
law, we'll be tearing our clothes off en masse and jogging hither and 
thither.  Moreover, that letter was written by a woman, not (as you suggest) 
a bunch of randy college boys hoping to get a glimpse of a nekked girl.
