John Davis' letter was poorly written, it was in defense of public schools- if you set 'em up to be knocked down, then don't be upset when someone knocks 'em down. What is comical is that the response of the university people is the bleating "What's the point?" "Who cares?" Shoot, where's that oozy relativism the U pumps out like a massive liberal heart when the pointed conservative questions start pouring in? Quality in writing? Spell check?

As for the tone of my comments concerning my original letter, I was being sarcastical. Something they don't cover in U of I English classes. Oh, oh, wait...yeah, that explains it.
