drought deja vu

Having lived in Northern California during the droughts of the early 1970's,
I appreciate Tom's suggestions and have one phrase to add that came from
that drought "If it's yellow, let it mellow, If it's brown ,flush it down!"
And you folks wondered why residential toilets have lids!  And I was
surprised at how many gallons of water I recovered from our bathtub/shower!
