RE: Death Penalty: Re: Eric E. vision 2020

Greetings Visionaires -

The claim that life in prison is somehow equal to execution is an ignorant
claim at best.

How many times in the past year have we heard of people who have been
sentenced to life in prison (or had their executions commuted to life in
prison) released from prison as a reult of new evidence that these same
individuals are not only not guilty, but innocent of the crime of which they
have been convicted. DNA evidence comes to mind.

These individuals who have been sentenced to life in prison can be simply
released. What option is there concerning a person that has been executed?

Just a thought,
