volunteers needed to collect signatures at farmers market, rally and beyond

The referendum petition to put the topless ordinance to public vote has been 
approved.
Can you help collect signatures this saturday?  Let's get off to a good 
start at the farmers market and into the woman's rights rally.
Please, let us know if you can come.  The more people we have collecting 
signatures, the less work for us.  We can start about 8 am.
We need to gather 2300 signatures from valid registered voters.
If 100 of us collect 30 signatures, we'd be assured of having enough.
If you are not registered to vote, go to the courthouse and fill out a card. 
  10 minutes of your time.  You can't sign the petition and have it count if 
you are not registered.  The courthouse is on 5th and adams.  It's easy.  
It's your civic duty.
We also need to raise about $5000 in order to pay for the bond to put this 
to a referendum if the city council does not come to their senses.  We will 
then have to waste this money to put this to a public vote instead of 
spending on something positive for the community
