Gender specific ordinance

John Guyer, et. al.,
Although males may use their breasts lewdly in public less frequently than
do women, women are no less deserving of constitutional equal protection
under the laws against such rare men.

Similarly, male molestation of children occurs at a much higher rate than
does molestation of children by women. Using your reasoning for voting down
the gender neutral alternative ordinance, we should not criminalize
molestation perpetrated
by women because it would dilute wording in laws relating to rape of a
minor.

If a person commits the crime of lewdness, let them be disciplined according
to their crime, regardless their gender.

Jennifer
