Mid Summer Evening Bike Ride And Star Gazing Event

Mark your calendar for July 13th 2002 for a fun and
informative evening. Register at 8:30 p.m. at Mountain View
Park to enter the drawing and receive your glow necklace. Be
prepared, have your helmet on, and wear light colored
clothing.  Your bicycle must have a light and reflectors.
You are ready!!!! Feel free to decorate your bike, keeping
safety in mind, of course.
The Paradise Path Force and the Bicycle Committee have come
up with planned routes to introduce you to the City Bicycle
Route and different parts of the Paradise Path. Depending on
your bicycle mastery you could bike to Hordemann’s, Pond, to
Berman Creekside, or, to the U of I Observatory (located on
the Old Pullman highway). There will be Telescopes set up at
the Observatory and at Mountain View Park manned by
Astronomers. You will be able to look at distant stars,
weather permitting.
