RE: Individual Rights

Mike, I agree with this very much. It is NOT the school's job to babysit and
teach our children morals. They need to be taught at school the basic 3R"s
(yeah there's more now) and to respect their parents. The latter should be
taught by example. Often that is not happening as the schools are being
forced to teach how to "get your parents" because you (the student) have the
right. (my humble opinion for what it is worth)

Kieth,

Thank you for your comments. I also have been subscribed for several years.
Some time ago my comments within the debates were starting to get heated and
I stopped posting for a while. Good break for me.

I agree with your assertion that all of us are teaching our young to be
rebellious and immoral by our own actions. All you have to do to see this
is look at the families whose childern are respectful and those who are not.
I would postulate that very few disrespectful children come from respectful,
disciplining parents.

So for all of you V2020 subscribers, take a critical look at your kids, the
neighbors kids, and the other kids in town and then look in a mirror.
You'll see the reflection of yourself and your actions in a whole new
light.
