NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE LATAH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Wednesday, May 22, 2002
1:30 P.M.
As per Idaho Code 67-6509 and 67-6511 and Section 13 of the Latah County
Zoning Ordinance, the Latah County Board of Commissioners will hold a public
hearing on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Room 2-B of the Latah County
Courthouse, Moscow, Idaho, to receive comments on:
1:30 p.m.-An amendment to Section 11.05 of the Latah County Zoning
Ordinance, Wireless Telecommunication Towers and Transmission Facilities.
This amendment would allow the setback requirement for towers to property
lines to be waived, allow the Zoning Commission to waive the co-location
requirement if it proves to be more consistent with the Comprehensive Plan,
and adopts lighting requirements for new towers.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend the hearing. Accommodations
for individuals who qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act are
available upon request. Notice is required in the Planning Office three
working days prior to the hearing in order to acquire accommodations.
This hearing will be held pursuant to the Latah County Hearing Procedures
Ordinance and under authority of the Idaho Local Planning Act. The Board of
Latah County Commissioners reserves the right to limit the length of
testimony.

accepted at the above office prior to the public hearing.
