Whale Tales program

Peter Fromm of Friday Harbor, Washington will present "Whale Tales: Human
Interactions with Whales" on Wednesday, May 15, at 7 p.m. in the Moscow
Public Library.
>From earliest recorded history, cetaceans have fascinated humans. Since
1994, Fromm has been documenting human encounters with whales. As a
photographer and storyteller, Fromm weaves together an oral history of
human interactions with whales with an audio-visual presentation and
explores the changing relationship between people and whales.
This presentation is free and open to the public. The event is made
possible by the Friends of the Moscow Library and is presented in
conjunction with Neill Public Library, Whitman County Libraries, and the
Washington Commission for the Humanities through its "Inquiring Mind"
program. This program will also be presented at Neill Public Library and
the Colfax High School.
