"The Laramie Project," which played to sold-out houses at the Kiva
Theatre last month, is back on stage this weekend for two extra
performances: Friday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 9, at 1
p.m.
The play deals with Laramie's response to the beating death of Matthew
Shepard, a gay University of Wyoming student, in 1998. It's based on
more than 200 interviews done with Laramie residents by members of the
New York-based Tectonic Theatre company.
Reservations are recommended. Call the UI Ticket office: 885-7212.
