DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PLAN
The City of Moscow announces that a proposed Downtown revitalization Plan
will be presented to the Moscow City Council at the December 17, 2001
Council Meeting, to be held at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers,
second floor, City Hall, 206 East Third Street.
The presentation will be made by Latah Economic Development Council
Executive Director Barbara Richardson in conjunction with Peter Burgoise of
Dufresne-Henry Landscape Architects and Planners. Last March the Moscow
City Council awarded Dufresne-Henry the contract to provide downtown
revitalization consulting services under the direction of LEDC.
The City invites the public to attend this important meeting. It is a
unique opportunity for residents to see the plan and provide input. The
City encourages its residents to take an active role in shaping our
community's future.
