guitars gently weeping

The news of George Harrison's death has saddened many of us who grew up
during those years. It leaves me feeling more vulnerable as the icons of my
youth take leave of this world.  For me, the music the Beatles gave us was
always the most wonderful part of what they brought to the culture. His
playing was as critical to their sound as the songwriting and harmonies of
Lennon and McCartney. He was also a great songwriter in his own
right....Don't Bother Me, You Like Me Too Much, Taxman and Something not to
mention his solo career.

I'm never agreed with label the "quiet Beatle." I could always hear his
killer guitar riffs just fine.
