fire station

    I'm not so certain that a distinction has been made to whether the
proposed new fire station is necessary for our existing community or for
further development and expansion of the north side. If the latter purpose
best describes the reasoning for the station (which I suspect is true),
then I would oppose it. The bond proposal plays to those who deem that
city sprawl is both inevitable and good for the community. I like this
community as is and have no interest in supporting the development of a  
more populated and conjested one...a safer one yes, but is that really the
issue here?
