If your suggestions actually happen... not only will US be destroyed, the
earth's habitat would be in serious danger of no longer supporting life. If
US acted in this manner we would have WWIII and it would be the world
against US and guess what... there would be no winners!

It is easy for us to act irresponsibly when we feel threatened. This is the
same reaction that has surfaced from a few misguided individuals who have
terrorized non-European-origin Americans recently. I have seen it before so
the threats and comments and dirty looks do not effect me so much anymore
but to most it has been much more debilitating.

In fact if we act as you suggest we would be doing exactly what the
terrorists want... lowering ourselves to their level. We would be dismissing
what makes us such a great country... we would have lost right there! We
would not only have failed to minimize terrorism, we would be the primary
terrorists in the world.

Furthermore from your comments I would have to judge that you either have
not been reading the communications on this list or have chosen to ignore
the logical progression of it. I would suggest that you start thinking
realistically about this and start educating yourself about the real world.
If you think we can engage the world in a military confrontation you really
need a major reality check. If you get into a competition of terror... I
assure you the Middle East would kick our butts! Never mind the rest of the
world.

Do you really think that killing innocent people is the answer? Do you not
see the hypocrisy in that? You do not see that you are prejudice? Do you
think you would be hurting the terrorists if you killed a bunch of people
who the terrorists have been hurting for decades? Do you know anything about
Afghanistan? Then there is your apparent lack of geographical knowledge...
why would you nuke Kabul? Would it not make sense to bomb Ghandahar? Or
maybe we should just nuke the whole Middle East and get it done. I wonder
how fast you can put up solar panels and start riding your bike in the
middle of nuclear fallout storms since there will be no oil for you to use.
Do you think that Russia and china are just going to sit there and watch you
launch nukes right on their borders?

I try very hard not to attack people because I think free speech is
something to encourage. I do have to say, however, that your views wreak of
the same prejudice and Neanderthal diplomacy that the fundamentalist fanatic
religious people around the world believe in. I will defend your right to
speak your mind until I die but I will also fight against what you say until
my last breath.

Heard US military action is expected "within hours".  Great!  It's about
time.  Also heard where additional terrorist strikes against US assets
are currently guaged at 100%.  Anytime we have a terrorist action it
must be responded to with force and destruction 1000X harder than what
we experience.  Also, any large scale strikes by terrorist factions
should result in immediate nuclear strikes on their major metropolitan
areas....Kabul and  Baghdad for a start.  Bottom line, it's now us
against them and I choose us.  If they are determined to "destroy"
western culture -- we must destroy them utterly and completely.  We used
nukes on Japan with great results.  Let's employ the same tactics
against the Middle East before they achieve any level of higher
destructive ability.  Knock them completely out and then take over their
natural resource areas.
