Palouse Sprint Triathlon, Sunday

Hi all,

The Palouse Triathlon Organizing Committee is hosting a sprint distance
triathlon on Sunday, September 16 at 8:00 am in Moscow. The Event will
start with a 500 yard swim in the City of Moscow Hamilton Lowe Aquatic
Center. The swim will be followed with a 15 kilometer bike race and a 5
kilometer run. Over 100 race participants have registered as either solo
racers or teams of three.

The sprint distance format is ideal for the beginner triathlete and the
team category allows for the participation of individuals specializing in
any of the three disciplines. The Palouse Sprint Triathlon will be another
healthy, fun event on the Palouse and has attracted the participation of
local community members.

The bike race will occur on Mountain View Road, West Twin Road, and Idler's
Rest Road. The run will take place on D Street, Cleveland, F Street,
Orchard Street and Trail Road. All roads will remain open during the race,
although volunteers will be directing traffic at intersections.
