Not a bad point but off the mark. It's the University of "Idaho", not
"Moscow". Base on your logic all parking, even off-street should be free;
however, to do that, someone, students or taxpayers, would have to build
parking lots, etc., with other funds. Nope, still don't have a problem with
University parkers paying to do so and those funds being used to create
places to put their vehicles.
While on the subject of OUR, Eighth Street does belong to the citizens of
Moscow. When the City agrees to Gritman's request to abandon it so they can
expand, I believe we should at least be paid for our property, i.e., pay the
City the downtown Moscow market price per square foot of ground obtained for
OUR street.
