Teddy Bear Clinic - we need YOU!

Gritman Medical Center is sponsoring a Teddy Bear Clinic for children in
our community on Saturday, May 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and we need
YOUR HELP!

What is the Teddy Bear Clinic?
The Teddy Bear Clinic is an opportunity for children to "admit" their
Teddy Bear and tour the hospital with their parent or guardian in a
non-threatening manner. Hospital staff will be available in various
departments to explain about equipment, procedures, etc. Over 300
children are expected!

We need YOU!
We need community volunteers to help lead tour groups to different areas
of the hospital and to help "admit" Teddy Bears and families. As always,
help with set up and clean up is welcome. Volunteer orientation will be
provided so knowledge of the hospital is not necessary. We need an
additional 25 volunteers to help us! Will you consider it?

All volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch (cooked by our CEO), and a
T-shirt. Of course you'll also receive the joy of knowing you helped a
child feel more comfortable in a hospital setting!

I hope you will be willing to take part. If you'd like to volunteer or if
you'd like more information, please contact:
-- Angela Carpenter, PR/Marketing Director 883-6413
-- Debi Dockins, Volunteer Director 883-6231

Thanks!
