Window on the Universe

Dear friends,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the individuals who have
worked hard to bring to our community "the Window on the Universe". The
individuals who are working hard for the education of our children and the
creation of the Palouse Discovery Science Center are the same ones who bring
us this great program and they are an asset to our community and should be
commended for the dedication and vision they show towards our children.
Indeed without these individuals and others who contribute so much to the
quality of our region my stay here would have been completely unbearable!

The scientists have been visiting classes all week and my kids have enjoyed
these sessions. I appreciate the focus of this group to excite our
youngster's imagination and help them see the joys of learning and
discovery.

For those of you who missed last night's presentation in Pullman... you
missed one entertaining and educational event. Dr. Tim Livengood was very
funny and the kids were having a ball... of dry ice that is!
