Palouse Littering
This morning, at approximately 9:00, I once again saw Palouse Living being
thrown out of the same car that was doing this in late February. Note that
there are scattered showers in our area, and residents may come home to
soggy, unsolicited papers on their lawns.
Todd Hogan told me then that the Daily News' goal was delivery onto a
porch, walkway, or driveway. While the litterer--er, delivery man--is
managing to clear the tree lawns most of the time, he is still throwing
this unsolicited garbage in people's yards, generally not into the "target
areas." Mr. Hogan told me before, "If he does it again, he's off the
route." Well, Mr. Hogan, what is your response now? Will this deliverer
be maintained, transferred to another route, or terminated?
Additionally, I took the car's license number. Well, Visioneers, should I
file a police complaint against the driver and the Daily News? Should I
contact those companies that pay hefty prices for inserts in Palouse
Living, and tell them what is happening to their advertising dollars?
