RE: Palouse Living trashes community...
Mr. Hogan,
I don't understand why we are automatically signed up to get it and have to
request not to get it! I have never heard of anyone actually reading it! I
am sure there are maybe a dozen people who will want it. The reality is that
it is junk mail... the only difference is that it does not in the mail! Is
the I idea that I have the right to print whatever I want and throw it in
your driveway? Why do I have to even bother telling you not to litter my
property? What right do you have throwing this junk in my driveway? Where
does this end? Can I print hate material and place it in your driveway?
Would we all relax and not get upset if the Arian nation organization
littered our driveways with their crap? I find your free "service" just as
offensive. It stands for almost everything I loath... over hyped
commercialization and waste of natural resources to violate the rights of
property owners. I do not have a daily paper holder attached to my
mailbox... take the hint that I do not want anything to do with you! If you
want to include the free part inside your paper for regular subscribers (who
have a newspaper cubby on their mailbox pole)... fine... they are asking for
your paper. But you have no right to bestow you junk upon humanity
indiscriminately. In a civilized world this act would be illegal. Here I
don't think it is... but a lawyer someday will find a way to eliminate this
annoyance once and for all. It would make a great class action suit I bet!
I know you view it as an advertisement for your paper... but all it does is
to annoy people so they do not want anything to do with you! This is a very
poor marketing tool. This also is an irresponsible way to act as a neighbor
and shows disregard for our communities interests as well at our natural
resources.
Shahab...

Does anyone honestly enjoy having this publication delivered? Isn't it
better distributed at businesses that volunteer to distribute it? Is
there anyone on the list that appreciates this "service"?
