Re: Sat. mail delivery & tank tops
Readers -
I totally agree with Stuart Hall concerning letter carriers' attire on Saturady
mail delivery. As public servants they are required to meet certain
standards. Not only does it reflect a lax attitude on the part of the U.S.
Postal Service toward its dress code, it also presents a non-professional image
of the U.S. Postal Service. Letter carriers should be permitted to wear warmer
clothing on cold days and cooler clothing on warm (or hot) days. The U.S.
Postal Service has uniforms for such occassions.
At least, that is how I see it. Does anybody have a conflicting opinion?
Sincerely,
Tom Hansen
