Elections and cynicism

I have to say I'm really shocked by this hue and cry over elections.

I assume that the people elected to office in Moscow or anywhere else
in the world are the people that the wealthy and criminals who
live in that area decided to put into office.

Elections are rigged and there is nothing you can do about it, except
to hope that one day you are the person rigging the machines. Get
over it.
