I think you're right on the mark especially if past
history is any prediction of future results...such
as what happened when Rutherford Hayes became
president through a series of legal battles and
deal making. The latest that I've read is that the
Secretary of State of Florida (a Republican) is
certifying the votes Tuesday at 5pm. Gore should
concede at this point with the speech of his life,
thank the voters for the victory in the popular vote,
request that the voter lawsuits be dropped (for
the good of the nation), assure his constituency that
he'll run again in four years, and then let Bush go
down in flames as an illegitimate president.
