A few days ago, I received an email from a conservative relative talking
about how Hillary Clinton defended some Black Panthers who killed a fellow
Black Panther. I suspected this of being an urban legend, and found a site
on the Internet that confirmed that the story was about 90% false.
The same site, http://www.snopes.com, discusses the Social Security
story. I'd say the story is 50% false, as described on
http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/pensions.htm.
Remember, if the email says "Pass this along, so as many people as possible
can read this," then it's probably hooey.
