public discussion--let it flourish
Following the publication of the candidates' questionaires, Rep. Tom Trail,
in a post to me that I have included below, made several great suggestions about
ways to increase the public discussion of community issues during this campaign
season. His ideas focus on using V2020 or the candidates' websites as the
information-sharing devices.
As I understand it, he suggests individual citizens can post questions to
prompt discussion by both candidates and other subscribers on V2020 and that
candidates can spark discussion by posting their ideas.
That is, as I understand it, the core function of V2020. Let the public
discussion flourish.... BL
