Old pullman road

While the work has gone on between Pullman and
Moscow, I've noticed that Old Pullman Road
has been totally beat to crap. Huge sections
of washboard where there was none, etc. I imagine
(but I have not been to see) that Sand road is
suffering the same fate.

Is there any plan to mitigate the wear on these
two roads after the construction is done? I heard
the other night on KMAX one of the Whitman County
Commisioner candidates state that Sand Road has
gone from 125 cars a day to over 1600 cars per
day. Certainly the road was not designed for this
traffic load!
