June 6 Community Workshop for Moscow-Troy Trail

The Latah Trail Foundation will conduct a community workshop on Tuesday,
June 6, 2000, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the former Sears space at the
Eastside Marketplace in Moscow.  Informative presentations will be made
about the Latah Trail project.  The Foundation will also establish
committees who will then meet to develop work plans and assign tasks in the
areas of public relations, trail inventory and design, marketing,
fundraising, construction, administration and others.

The Latah Trail will be constructed within 11 mile rail-bed between Moscow
and Troy to provide safe transportation, recreation and conservation
activities for all ages.  Anyone interested in working with the Latah Trail
Foundation on this worthwhile community project is invited to attend.  We
welcome your energy and input.  Thanks to those of you who have already
contributed to the trail!  Come celebrate National Trail Day and help bring
this important trail to our community.
