FW: Clean Up Moscow's Downtown

Hello!

I am hoping you all will help with a Clean Up Moscow effort being planned
for Friday, April 28, 2000, from 9 am to 12 noon.  We will be cleaning up
downtown, defined as Washington to Jackson and 8th to A streets. We will
conclude our clean up efforts by meeting at noon at Friendship Square for a
group picnic lunch.  I am hoping to get some beverages donated and available
for lunch.

I am asking all of the downtown merchants to get out and clean up, hose off,
and spruce up the area in front of and around their building. And if need
be, help your neighbor to clean up their area.  Some buildings are vacant on
Main Street, and if we can get some merchants to help pitch in and clean up
those areas, we will be presenting a much better image of our downtown for
our community and for potential merchants. Our streets downtown are
currently very dirty and do not provide well for our image.

Anyone willing to assist me in this endeavor, please send me a note, and I
can help coordinate our efforts for a teamwork approach!!!!
