> Youth Task Force a couple
>years ago, generated by a League of Women Voter's survey
Janice: Thanks so much for sharing this -- a copy's going into my file. I
had heard about that task force and was wondering why we did not have one
as of last year when the children's museum/science center proposals were
being discussed. In fact, I think that Parks and Rec. should take the
lead in having a continuous, 'recycling' (members) and proactive youth
task force, including youth as regular members, that touches base with
every neighborhood thru the local PAT's that already exist. We seem to
have the framework for that, and it makes for good, responsible community
planning as against administrative fiat w/o community inputs. Many eyes
are better than a few.
As for a copy of the previous report itself, perhaps I'll hold off
on that now and take a look at another time. Thanks for offering. Mayba
others would like to look at it. I'm sharing this with the 2020 list --
hope you don't mind. Maybe others would like to add something. Cheers,
Ken M.
