$5 million

I can certainly understand that we have many needs that could be solved by
spending all or part of the $5 million, but I would urge us all to take a
long term view of the great potential we can have as a result of this
bequest.  Spending the money means we have acquired something for our
children, investing the money means we have invested in our children and our
children's children.  We can solve the needs by investing all of the funds,
it will just take longer.
There is a rumor of a committee being put together regarding this issue, I
was wondering if anyone knows when this may happen?  I, for one, see no
reason to rush into any decisions.   I would prefer we take a long time to
completely understand all our options.
