Re: Joseph Street
Margeret,
There are plans to construct sidewalks along the portion of Joseph Street
adjacent to the property owned by the school district. The plans for park
land development include sidewalks for Joseph and Mountain View. I believe
there are to be pathways designed into the park itself. You could contact
the School District or the City to see a copy of the plan.
The city is also on a statewide list to replace the Joseph Street bridge
that may include widening for sidewalks. Gary Presol at the City could
answer this. I will bring up your concern at the next meeting of the
Transportation Commission.
