Dear Vision2020:

On the contrary, those advocates of conservative judicial activism, like
chief justice Rehnquist and his ilk, intent on destroying the Bill of
Rights, would be very comfortable in some of the world's religion-based,
totalitarian regimes. Indeed, as America has now surpassed Russia and
China as the world's top incarcerator of its citizens, chief justice
Rehnquist would recognize little difference between the American courts
he has worked to undermine and certain foreign tribunals unburdened by
the tradition of hundreds of years of justice.

This American, who loves our Constitution and Bill of Rights, will stay
and work to restore what was once ours. But, I agree that some
conservatives who are uncomfortable with freedom and liberty, may well
be happier in other countries.
