I'm sure they are applicable. I have no idea if there is any
truth in the allegations, however I seriously doubt if they are true. However,
if Egan has reason for a good faith reliance on his so-called sources the fact
that he makes an inquiry about the matter without actually stating these
allegations to be true, I doubt if he is guilt of libel at this
point.
