Re: Taters



That's too bad about Taters.  When daring to venture to a place like a mall,
it is always unfortunate to need real food and find junk.  It gives me some
kind of secure feeling to know that there is a huge unadulterated (if you so
desire) baked potato available, if needed.

Why do businesses always feel the need to maximize their profit margins to
the nth degree?  Capitallism can never just be satisfied with just ordinary,
"getting by" economies by which most of us individuals live.  I wonder if
the seniors that hang out at Tater's will frequent the new A & W
establishment?  I'll miss the sweet woman who camps out there during the
holidays crocheting snowflakes.

Of course I can't say I'm surprised, it's just the mall.  But let's hope
that the A & W's don't creep any closer to downtown.  Can we draw a "line in
the sand" at Line Street to be zoned to the east:  NO-C-C:  NO CORPORATE
CRAP ?
