skating

I'm an avid ice skater and would love to have that activity available
locally. So it is exciting to think of the city considering that
recreational activity. 

However, the young people in this community have worked long and hard for a
skateboard park and the last I heard (someone correct me if this is out of
date), the bid came in for more than had been raised. I'd sure like to see
the efforts these kids have made on this project come to fruition while
they can still enjoy the skate park. Is it possible for the city to help
finish this skate project before embarking on another?
