Re: Adopt-A-Steet Program



Although I have no problem using the word "adopt" in situations which
don't involve children, I think Bob Hoffman is correct that the "adopt
a street" program is a bad idea -- if it includes putting up signs
honoring the adopters.

I remember a wilderness trail (not even in Idaho) where there were so many
signs posted warning you against certain activities that it wasn't
wilderness any more, in my eyes.
