Maybe PC was rude in what was
said, but I believe PC said what was on the mind of others as well.
Shahab should appreciate PC's
candor. After all, Shahab, himself said, "Those of you who know me
know that I do not BS around; I do not mince words or hide the truth or act nice
to your face and then stab you in the back." Well PC didn't mince
words either.
Shahab went on the say,
"You always know where you stand." Does the people of Moscow
stand beneath you Shahab? You talk so negative about the people of Moscow and who
they choose to support, we must not measure up to your
standards.
Have you noticed that each time
you try to explain to everyone what you meant, you end up advertising your
business, boasting about how great you are, and putting a few more businesses
down? This time you took pot shots at grocery stores, discount stores,
Wal-Mart, Staples, Office Depot, Costco, and Home Depot. You said,
"Just like the inferior produce in the supermarkets today and the truly
junky computers in the discount stores and the sorry excuse for clothes in Wal
Mart, we will have to settle for less with everything else." Did you
stop to think, that these places give us what we want at the prices
we can afford? And is the computers really junky, or is it
that people just didn't buy them from you? I'm not saying that there
aren't flaws in some of the things we buy, but nobody can give you something
that is totally flawless. Not even you.
Shahab, If you don't like the
people of Moscow and the choices we make; the businesses we support or don't
support; and "since you have expertise that allows you to make much more
money elsewhere (your own words)," then why don't you go elsewhere?
And as far as "other local businesses not having as many options" --
what makes you think they don't?
I have lived in the Moscow area
for many years and I have never seen you advertise. You said, "Quite
frankly, if I have to lie and advertise a bunch of half truths and lies to
entice people to buy from me...I would rather starve to death." Is
that why you never advertised -- because they would be lies and half
truths? Are you implying that businesses who advertise are printing lies
& half truths?
And one last thought.
Our country is still a GREAT country and Moscow and its
people are great too. And I think I speak for many of us when I say
"we are proud people". If you're not proud of
this country anymore, why not take the next flight out?
