Interesting coment:
A job is neither a God-given right, nor an entitlement. I'd like to think
most of us in business do the best we can to pay our employees a living
wage, treat them fairly, and keep our customers coming back. I know there
are abuses on both sides, but we do what we can do in our own little corners
of the world.
I would agree that there certainly seems to be a lot of entitlement attitude
working in the undercurrent's of our culture.
I suspect that with the small business owners it is hard enough to make a
living wage around here for them selves,Let alone pay others.
Any one who accepts a job should understand the need for reliability.
Communication is the key to any relationship whether your building one or
ending one.
The chain stores are fishing out of the same labor pool.
Small business owners are like local league sport team's that have to
compete with national pros who are heavily backed.
It,s like a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Woody Allen.
Im rooting for Woody and calling for an ambulance at the same time.
