An extremely interesting and varied weekly radio program, "To The Best of
Our Knowledge", reappears on KWSU (AM 1250) today from 6 to 8 p.m. Each
one-hour segment deals with a different topic from a variety of viewpoints.
The 7 p.m. segment tonight is a particularly good program on brain
research. As a listener for several years, I consider TBOOK one of, if not
THE, best radio series ever broadcast. Check it out.
It's often inconvenient to listen to a radio program at a particular time.
Most people seem unaware that it is a simple matter to tape a radio program
on a VCR, even when not at home, and listen to it some other time, e.g. in
the morning while getting ready to go to work. (It sure beats the endless
repitition of Morning Edition.) Just connect the radio to the "audio in"
plugs on the VCR. (Call me if you need more hookup details.) You can
record six hours of audio on a single videocassette, which makes it much
cheaper than using audio cassettes. Some TBOOK segments are so good they
merit a second hearing, or even permanent collecting.
