    I don't know how many people on this list actually knew who Charlie
Brown was.  I dealt with him on a regular basis when I used to deliver
propane to his trailer.  I felt a touch of sadness when I learned of his
passing, only a touch and that  because he was a human being.
    To consider honoring this man would be a great disservice to society.
He was a drunkard, a sexual pervert, insane and amazingly unclean.  Calling
him a local legend and one our greatest eccentrics is ludicrous.  His
"legend" includes providing minors with illegal drugs and alcohol,
beastiality, and arrests for growing marijuana.   Eccentric?  He had
conspiracy theories that would put "The X-Files" to shame.   If you believe
this man needs honoring then either you have more compassion than Mother
Teresa or you're nuttier than a fruitcake.
