Poised?

Hmmmm. Better standby and see what happens in the
next Presidential election Bob. That which is poised
often takes a turn in the other direction. And that
is certainly a flaw in the "system".

Enforcement of environmental regs. dealing with
agriculture continues to be a big problem locally.
For example, there is virtually no money or staff to
enforce state and federal pesticide regs. The
violations are widespread and unchecked. (Not just
farming involved here either. There is little doubt
in my mind that, when it comes to applying pesticides,
the county and city have strayed as well.)

It's an uphill battle with a very steep incline.
