It would also be great to see a portion of the land set aside as a prairie 
restoration area.  Children could learn about the plants and animals that 
were once common in the Palouse, and help restore some acreage to 
quasi-original conditions.  They could learn to distinguish native and 
non-native plants, and learn the ins and outs of habitat restoration.
