Donald Trump's Idea

In a word:  Hog wash.  I heard an analysis of that idea right after it came out.  If the rich had to pay for it they would have to unload a whole lot of stock and as they do it will drive the stock market down to the point of an out and out crash.  It will never happen.  A lot of hot air that will fly like a lead ballon.

 

Now I will agree that we should make the rich pay their fair share.  That is the point of a progressive income tax.  A much greater percentage of my income is going to taxes than say Bill Gates.  That rankles me.
