what a gift to Moscow!

My thanks to the Palouse Land Trust, and especially to founder/first
president John Norton, for working with Moscow residents Maynard and
Margaret Fosberg to help them give us a huge section of open space right
inside Moscow....
The Fosbergs (as announced on Sat. at the Land Trust meeting) have preserved
their 17 acres at D Street and Mountain View, forever, for all of us. They
have given a conservation easement on the land to the Land Trust. Their 17
acres will not be developed with either houses or commercial businesses.
Instead it will be in essence, a public park, with opportunities for
environmental education in the wetlands along Paradise Creek there.
What a magnificent gift from the Fosbergs....
I am very impressed with what the Palouse Land Trust has accomplished in the
last 5 years. If you don't support their efforts now, as a member, I urge
you to consider doing so....more info is available from director Lynn
Tanimoto at 882-5974 (or lynnwt@turbonet.com).
