This is a continuation of my previous comments. While I would not want to
stereotype any group, the most dangerous group of drivers to me are the ones
seem to think the yellow lights are a signal to speed up, not prepare to
stop. There are many times I have witnessed people run through red lights
because it was too late for them to stop. One thing I appreciate about
Moscow, is that there is a short delay between the red light and the green
light for the crossing traffic. I am sure this helps to avoid many side
collisions; whereas in Pullman I can see how a car who has the green light
may actually be broadsided by someone who thought they could make it
through. Would that Pullman could have the same forsight as Moscow in this
area.
